14 grudnia 1267 roku zmarł książę kujawski Kazimierz Konradowic ( ur. ok. 1211), twórca, fundator
Inowrocławia, około 1237 r. nadał miastu prawo magdeburskie, sprowadził
Franciszkanów, zastosował genialne rozwiązania prawne, urbanistyczne,
handlowe, gospodarcze, które były wzorcem przez następnych ponad trzysta
lat dla wielu nowo- tworzonych grodów i ośrodków miejskich w
regionie i nie tylko.
Inowrocław bardzo wiele zawdzięcza temu człowiekowi, a nawet " wiele", to zbyt małe, zbyt słabe określenie, nasze miasto zawdzięcza księciu niemal wszystko......
Napisałem w tych kronikach już dziesiątki stronic o nim, dla niego, na jego cześć....
Dzisiaj w tę smutną rocznicę skromny wierszyk...
